Perfect for the summery months, but I wouldn’t say no to them at any other time of the year either since they are truly one of the best thirst quenchers, I swear.
I often buy large quantities of fresh strawberries when they are in season and freeze them up for later so that I can make delicious stuff like this yummy drink, with them throughout the year.
Also…. that’s one way to save some cash while still using quality ingredients *winks*

This is a very simple recipe, that calls for basic ingredients and it tastes so much more better than store-bought bottled juices. Try it out!

minutesIngredients
- 5 cups cold water
- 1 1/2 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/3rd cup Lime juice
- 1/2 cup honey or sugar syrup (more if you want it sweeter)
- Ice, to serve
Directions
- In a juicer, blend and puree the strawberries along with your choice of sweetener and lime juice.
- Pour the pureed strawberries into a jug, stir in the cold water. Check the taste, you can add more sweetener and/or water depending on your liking.
- Serve chilled with Ice!
Notes
- If using frozen strawberries, then let them thaw completely before blending it into a puree.
- I used a Juicer with an attached strainer. You can strain them through a fine mesh sieve or use a cheesecloth to remove the seeds.
