A delicious drink made with strawberries and watermelon, mixed with store-bought soda. They not only work together but ends up tasting really good. It’s a nice, refreshing drink for the Summer months.
A delight on our Iftar table when I made it yesterday using a lemon-lime soda (7Up to be precise), however you are free to use any Club soda or sparkling water of your choice. To enjoy the fizziness, it is best served immediately after it’s made or requires to be covered and kept chilled until you choose to serve it.
I am not generally a fan of soda, but it does add an oomph factor to a regular fruit juice and it’s a great drink option for a family-friendly party or gathering. You could also add an additional hint of mint or lime.

3 heaped cups watermelon chunks, seedless
1 heaped cup (or about 8-10) strawberries, hulled
1 Tbsp liquid sweetener (honey, sugar syrup, agave)

Ice cubes, for serving
Directions
- Add watermelon chunks, strawberries and sweetener in a blender and blend until smooth. You may strain this mixture if you want or use it as it is.
